The purpose of Christ Lutheran Church Ministries is developing dynamic disciples for Christ. We create environments for faith to grow so we grow to be more like Jesus. Through the power of the Holy Spirit working through God’s Word, Baptism, the Lord’s Supper and gathering around God’s Word together, we develop as followers of Jesus Christ.
At Christ Lutheran Church Ministries, we emphasize 4 environments for dynamic discipleship development with the words: Worship, Connect, Learn and Serve.
As we gather in worship, we celebrate God together. Such celebratory worship happens in our weekend worship experiences.
As we gather to connect, we develop adult faith relationships. The best place at Christ Lutheran for these faith relationships to develop is in our Life Groups.
As we gather to learn, this happens in our school as well as our Bible Classes. Our goal as we learn is to know to live God’s Word. We want to know the story of faith, make it our own, and live out God’s love in our church, our community and our world.
As we gather to serve, we go forth to bring Christ’s love to others in deeds and words. We seek to show Christ’s love in action in our homes, the places we work as well as our community and world.
We picture these four environments as our Pathway to Engagement.
