The collaboration between Christ Lutheran and Afghan refugees in San Diego is of utmost importance as it demonstrates compassion, support, and a welcoming spirit in a time of great need. By providing assistance, resources, and a sense of community, Christ Lutheran plays a vital role in helping these individuals rebuild their lives and find solace amidst the challenges they face.

Serve Sunday
Serve Sunday emerged as a tangible expression of our commitment to the community, originating from a heartfelt conversation in the spring of 2019 that asked the question, "How can we actively demonstrate love to our community?" Through the exploration of various ideas, Serve Sunday was conceived and has since become one of the many impactful ways in which the church engages with and serves the local community.
