Mission:Salam
The collaboration between Christ Lutheran Church and Afghan refugees in San Diego is of utmost importance as it demonstrates compassion, support, and a welcoming spirit in a time of great need. By providing assistance, resources, and a sense of community, Christ Lutheran plays a vital role in helping these individuals rebuild their lives and find solace amidst the challenges they face.
Mission:Salam is a volunteer organization that relies on donated home goods, furniture, clothing, shoes, and bicycles. All donated items should be clean, well-vacuumed, in working order, and free of stains, rips, or tears. Acceptance of donations is at the discretion of Mission:Salam.
